Start with the membrane edge
The rail opening, fabric termination and surrounding support meet in a small area. Draw that interface at construction scale before freezing the ceiling pattern. The YZ-M26-DM body is 60 × 42mm, so the ceiling detail must account for more than the visible opening. Mark the finished membrane plane and the point where its edge meets the profile. The ceiling specialist should be able to identify the termination without interpreting a general lighting symbol. Include a corner in the enlarged drawing if the membrane line changes direction near the rail. Ask how the edge will be protected while the rail is fixed and electrical work is completed. The final smooth surface depends on a sequence of construction decisions that should be agreed before fabric dimensions are released, not solved after the membrane arrives on site.
Keep the fixing load separate
A membrane finish and a structural fixing serve different purposes. Have the ceiling team identify where the profile is supported and how the supporting structure can be reached during installation. Show where the DM profile transfers its load into the supporting construction above or beside the membrane. The fabric's visual role should not be confused with the fastening arrangement for rail and lamps. Coordinate the support positions with the ceiling specialist and the installer, including any reinforcement where sections join. Access during construction also matters: a support that can only be reached before the fabric is stretched needs to be inspected and completed at the appropriate stage. Keep that sequence in the installation review. The 60 × 42mm section helps establish the space occupied by the body, but the project still needs a clear method of securing it within the actual building construction.
Plan horizontal changes
The YZ-M26-DML corner and related reinforcement parts belong in the joint schedule. Show the direction of each turn instead of relying on a symbol that could be interpreted in several ways. Identify YZ-M26-DML at the intended horizontal turn and show the adjacent sections and their support. A square on the reflected ceiling plan does not explain which side of a joint receives each fitting or how the membrane edge continues around it. Add the associated TP reinforcement discussion to the joint schedule where relevant to the selected detail. Ask for the matching component arrangement against that drawing instead of ordering a quantity of corners from a thumbnail. The installer should be able to distinguish a turn within the ceiling from a transition into another plane before assembly begins. Clear orientation is particularly useful where several visually similar corner locations exist in the same membrane pattern.
Resolve mitered joints
The SPTP and CZTP reinforcement descriptions address different joining directions. Label the intended plane of the joint in the detail and request the matching fitting selection. Use a section or small perspective sketch to distinguish the proposed SPTP and CZTP joining directions. A miter drawn only in plan can hide whether the adjoining pieces remain level or move into another plane. Identify the rail edges and the membrane side on the sketch, then request the matching reinforcement selection. Check the physical assembly sequence with the support installer, because reinforcement placed at the wrong stage may become difficult to reach after the ceiling is stretched. The component letters should follow the drawn joint, not replace its geometry. Keep the accepted detail with the quotation so a substitute fitting can be reviewed against the orientation it must actually serve on site.
Coordinate the strip detail
YZ-M26-DMJT forms part of the dedicated soft-membrane component set. Include the ceiling-edge materials alongside the rail sections when reviewing the installation package. Ask the ceiling specialist to show how the DMJT strip relates to the membrane edge and the selected DM body. Keep its description with the dedicated soft-membrane parts rather than treating it as an unassigned finishing item. Small edge components can disappear from a general rail quotation even though their omission becomes conspicuous against a smooth stretched surface. Compare the proposed finish and visible junction with the membrane sample. Include terminations and corners in the review, where the detail is more demanding than along a straight length. Agree the division of supply between the lighting order and the ceiling order so neither party assumes the other has included the strip and associated edge materials.
Think through replacement access
The arrangement should allow the relevant electrical and luminaire components to be reached without unnecessary disturbance to the finished ceiling. Review this while support and access positions remain adjustable. Locate the DC48V supply and input arrangement with a service route that remains usable once the membrane and surrounding joinery are complete. Have the electrical contractor check how the selected components can be reached and removed under their installation instructions. An access position above a fixed cabinet can cease to be practical after fit-out. Review likely lamp adjustments from the occupied room as well, especially where the design depends on aiming toward changing displays. Preserve a drawing of concealed supports and cable routes at handover. The objective is a resolved membrane detail whose smooth appearance does not depend on permanently concealing every component that may later need electrical attention or adjustment.
Prepare a DM-specific quotation
Identify the profile by its full designation and include a drawing of each corner and termination. A general request for stretch-ceiling track is too broad to communicate this M26 detail. Send an enlarged ceiling section labeled YZ-M26-DM, the 60 × 42mm body size and a plan showing each joint. List DML, TP, SPTP, CZTP and DMJT against the locations where the proposed detail needs them, with the final arrangement reviewed for the actual geometry. Include the membrane finish, support construction, intended lamps and access location for the DC48V equipment. Ask for the rail and dedicated ceiling-edge components together so the proposal can be reconciled with the fabric contractor's scope. If another stretch-ceiling family is offered, request its own section and accessory proposal rather than accepting a substitution under the general description of membrane-compatible track.
Bring the selection into the room: M26 Soft-Membrane Ceiling Track
Bring the membrane specialist and lighting installer to the same YZ-M26-DM detail. Confirm the rail support, fabric edge and orientation of every joining part before the ceiling dimensions are released. Send that section with the lamp layout and the DC48V access arrangement for a coordinated quotation. Keep the dedicated DM components identified separately from other recessed or stretch-ceiling rails, even when the finished openings are intended to look similar.
